Bryan and I have decided to have a VERY small wedding on Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island. We have decided to limit attendees to children, parents, siblings, and neices and nephews.  We are still undecided about the location of our after party (catered by Grandy's with FRENCH FRIES) so if you have any hints, please...

Growing up in the Golden Isles, my granny and I spent lots of time on Jekyll.  Even in her last couple of years, we visited there.  As a child, she would take me and my cousin Craig bike riding around the entire island.  I have the most amazing memories of those times even though I remember complaining like nobody's business the whole way. ;)  One of my granny's favorite places on the island was driftwood beach.  Many many many years ago, there was an AMAZING picnic area there as well and I have so many fond memories of times we spent there as well.  Well...I lost my granny unexpectedly a year ago.  I miss her dearly...in all of her glory.  In her honor and because of the love of Jekyll she instilled in me, we chose Driftwood Beach.  Bryan, I'm so glad you fell in love with it too.

"With 1111, the universe is sending a signal that an energy gateway has opened up for you. The universe has acknowledged you, and wants you to be aware that help is on the way. The universe only reaches out when you need help, so you’ll likely instinctively know what problem the universe is attempting to help you with."

I've always been told that the power of a string of ones is inherent.  It is a reminder that you are loved and supported and to pay attention to what is going on in your life.  Given the significance of this day for us, you can now understand how easy it was for us to choose this date!
