Four years ago two friends became much more than that.  On Jan 1st 2015, we acknowledged that we were attracted to each other.  Over the next year, that attraction grew into love.  That love grew into a need to be together.  We had both given up on finding our soul mates and then it had happened without us even realizing it.  Now we cannot wait to commit to each other for the rest of our lives.  Like two kingdoms becoming one.

This is a picture of the first outing we had with all of Dawns children.  Dave realized that even though he had never thought about being a father, that having children of his own filled a void in his life that he never knew was there.  Now, Dave could not be prouder of all of his kids.  Dawn had raised all her kids for the last 5 years by herself.  She had almost given up on someone coming to help and love her.  All of Dawn's kids grew with time to love and respect Dave and consider him their step-father (and the buyer of chips and wings and things).  Now we go to school functions together, attend parent-teacher meetings together, go to football games, go to band recitals, and all of the things parents do with their kids.  Both of us are deliriously happy and bone tired.
