Chris and I met when I was a Senior at El Reno High School and he was a Sophomore at El Reno High School.  We were in Mr. Lopp's Horitculture class together the first time we spoke to each other.  We entertained the idea of dating, but it never worked out to our advantage.  After high school, we both embarked on our own adventures!  Years later, fate brought us back together.  We were both spending some quality time with our friends, who happened to live directly across the street from each other.  After the night we ran into each other again, we were inseperable!  Five weeks later, we moved in together and the rest is history!  We have pulled each other out of some rough spots and could not have asked for a better half! 

It was October 25th, the day after my birthday.  Chris was somehow able to sneak around and get off work with enough time to pick up my ring and get home before I got off work.  We went to sign the final papers on his new truck and we decided to eat afterwards.  I picked Toby Keith's.  As we were heading into downtown OKC Chris kept trying to get me to call the company to get us a horse & carriage ride.  When I refused to do that, he tried convincing me to do a river boat ride.  Again, I refused.  It was cold.  When we got back to El Reno, he drove right passed our house.  I asked where he was going and he said he just wanted to drive around in his new truck for a little while.  I asked him if he would just let me put on some pajamas and then we could be out as long as he wanted.  After I went home and changed, we drove around on back roads for quite a while before pulling into his dad's driveway and parking at the pond.  He convinced me to get out and sit on the tailgate and gave me his coat.  As I was opening the tailgate he closed it.  When I turned around, he was on one knee asking me to marry him!
