Our Story


Mike and Nikki met in 2007 while working at the Crownpoint movie theater. Both Mike and Nikki loved to look at the schedule and see they would be working concession together. They bonded through laughter and making fun of the movie-goers together. Even then, Nikki kept Mike in check by making sure he did his work instead of talking movies with the other guys at work.




Our First Kiss and First Date



In October 2008, Mike and Nikki met up at a co-worker's birthday party.

Mike was told some newly discovered information ("Nikki likes you"), which gave Mike the courage to ask Nikki for a kiss. Maybe it was the Jack Daniel's, or maybe it was the irresistible way Mike appeared from a dark corner to pull Nikki in for a kiss, but Nikki kissed him back and that was that.


Nikki and Mike decided that they wanted to get to know each other better. A few days after their first kiss, they went on their first date. They met at Starbucks for hot chocolate and conversation...that's when their adventures begun.




The ceremony will be on September 12, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Morning Glory Farm. The ceremony will take place outside with a beautiful view of the lake and rolling hills of the farm. A cocktail hour in the gardens and reception under the tented patio will follow the ceremony. If the weather is poor the wedding activities will be under the tent.
