Our story began several years ago when we noticed each other during Sunday church services.  As the years went by, our friendship began to grow.  We both found ourselves hungry for companionship and longed for someone special to be part of our daily lives.

April 19, 2013 was our first date and we have been inseparable since.  We truly believe that the Father Almighty brought us together and blessed our relationship. 

The Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”  Gen. 2:18

Neither of us was planning on falling in love.  Neither of us was planning on having feelings awakened that we had forgotten existed.

“He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.”  Proverbs 18:22

With the faithfulness of our Lord, our dreams will be fulfilled.

Nicks proposal:  “Ruth, in the eyes of the Lord, our church family, and our daughters and sons, I promise to love you forever.  Will you marry me?” 

And she said, “Yes!”

Ruth - You’re the one whose hand I want to hold forever and ever. – Nick

Nick – You’re like no one else I’ve known and I never knew that love could be like this. – Ruth
