Bobby is slick!  He hid his amazing proposal plan from me for weeks.  Little to say I was clueless and truly overwhelmed once I realized what was going on!

We were having dinner on the famous River Street of Savannah just enjoying the awesome weather and each other's company.  The street was a little busy and there were lots of friends passing by since we were all in town for an Emergency Management Conference.  There was a saxophone player across the street from where we were eating who had been entertaining us all evening.  When dinner ended Bobby asked if I would walk across the street to where the saxophone player was set up.  At first I said "No, I'm good right here" but Bobby insisted!  We started to dance and I noticed him reaching for his pocket.... I saw his lips moving but I'm not exactly sure what was said.  The entire world around us disappeared and all I could think of was "This is really happening!"  He got down on one knee and I couldn't even catch my breath.  Somehow I managed to shake my head and stutter out a "Yes!".  When the fog lifted I could hear cheers all around us.  Our best friends were hidden nearby filming the whole thing, a sweet lady who'd been eating next to us was snapping a thousand pictures, and people all around River Street and on restaurant balconies were all cheering us on!  It was amazing!  I think I hugged everyone on the street, thanked the academy, and cried my way back to my seat where our waitress had an amazing dessert and congratulations waiting for us.  

What more can a girl ask for :)
