We were getting ready to purchase our first home... we had booked a walk through of the place before closing documents were submitted. We decided to call our parents because they had no idea we were trying to purchase a home. We told them we had a flat tire at a near by gas station and to meet us there. Once they all arrived, we asked them to follow us around the corner. We drove them into the gated community and pulled up to the house... little did I know what was about to happen.

We wondered the home in excitement; picturing where all our furniture would sit; even where the Christmas Tree would go. We were standing in what would have been our dining room and he said to my Dad, "Mr. Tincher if I could, ask for your permission, to marry your daughter..." as he pulled out a ring from his pocket and got down on one knee. It was surreal. It was a dream.... with excitement and tears I couldn't get the words out fast enough.... I SAID YES!!!!

I love him so much and what a wonderful surprise to have our parents there for our engagement.
