Although the statistics are pretty high for people that find their partner at work; I never dreamed that i would be part of that statistic. When Vidal and I first started working together, it was nothing more than a professional relationship. We worked together for about a year and a half before we ever even went on our first date. When we finally did go on our first date....man what a disaster that was. There was no real chemisty to speak of other than just friends. It wasn't until one day, when i was laying on the couch bored at home when i decided to search for his number on a crinkled peice of paper. After I found what I was searching for, to my dismay the number had been disconnected. Upon returning to work the following day I promptly and sarcastically asked why he changed his number. After me showing my interest, he reluctantly, i'm sure, went on another date with me. Our second-first date took us to TGIF Fridays for appetizers and beer........and the rest is history. 

I'd like to say that our love started as love at first sight.....but that just wasn't true. However, I did find my true love, with her.  We were merely coworkers, until Vanessa decided that she was eager to get to know me better. Our relationship grew from a bad date to true love, where we got to spend days, nights, weekends and special moments together. I am excited to share new adventures, new firsts and exciting unknowns with her.
