We met in New York City in 2008 while working at a conference. Each night we went out with co-workers and always ended up at Rosie O'Grady's.

We kept in touch and in April of 2009 we worked together at another conference in Phoenix, Kathie's home city. We spent more time together, getting to know eachother. In June we went to San Francisco and fell in love.

For two years we saw eachother when we could, mostly while working, but we talked and emailed every day.

In 2011 Kathie moved to Denver, where we share a home with with our cat Hurley. We enjoy traveling and exploring new places in Colorado and other cities that we travel to while working.

We are excited about getting married and sharing our lives together. We both feel fortunate to have found love.

Hurley is our kitty, we adopted him in 2011 and gave him a forever home.

We learned he had health issues but through love and care, he's a healthy and happy cat. Hurley was diagnosed with diabetes in May of 2013. He needed shots of insulin twice daily and a strict diet. Today Hurley is in remission and living a health life!!

His day consists of exploring the closet, helping Mom while she works (he's an excelent Admin), chasing his favorite toy mouse, and long naps.

His hobbies include long naps, wearing hats, long naps, snacking on tuna, long naps, sitting on Dad's lap, sunning himself on the patio and long naps.

We got engaged in October 2013 at the San Diego Zoo. There was a photographer stationed at the Panda Exhibit. He did a great job capturing the moment!

A wedding ceremony and reception is being planned for a small group of family and friends in Colorado this October.

We're planning a fantastic Honeymoon cruise on Royal Carribbean's Oasis of the Seas to the Eastern Caribbean.
