MOM,

Gerald and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done to support us.

You are my best friend. I know I haven’t always been easy to handle. In fact, I know I have been the reason for many stressful nights and days. I haven’t always appreciated or valued you the way you deserve. I was a very challenging teenager and I am a bit of a bridezilla.

But you have always given me your unconditional love…

You are the strongest, bravest woman I have ever known. I want you to know that I learned to be strong and brave from you.  Thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for believing in me when I wasn’t able to believe in myself.

Thank you for being the best brothers anyone could ask for! Gerald and I want to thank you for being such a big part of our wedding. You 3 make my heart so happy. Im so glad to be living at home with you boys so that you can get to know Gerald better and I can spend more time with you!!

There are no words that can describe the weight that I feel when I think of how many things I want to thank you for.

Thank you for shining a light into my family and loving my mom with such entirety that everyone around can feel the happy spill from her giant grin.

Thank you for treating my sister and I like daughters even though we were too old to parent when you came into our life.

I can’t think of anyone whom really truly knows me in the same way that you do. You know my past mistakes. You have been there for me when I needed a shoulder to cry on and a friend to talk to. I have always felt like I could tell you anything. Sometimes it feels like you were the older sister growing up!
