On Tuesday March 19, 2013, our lives changed forever. The day started off as normal and in the evening we had a school performance for Molly. Kent was stuck at work and was going to be late so I ordered pizza for supper. We went to Molly's school performance and had a great time! That evening the kids were going with their dad. After getting them all situated, Kent and I went home. I hadn't got much sleep the few evenings before so I was exhausted. I figured we would just watch our Tuesday night shows, but Kent was insisting that we play Just Dance. I kept saying I don't want to play, and that I was so tired. Finally he convinced me that we would play just three songs and that I could pick the first one. We played my pick and went on to the second song which was the Time of My Life from Dirty Dancing. I commented on how Brittany was the last person I danced that song with. We got all the way to the part where the guy is down flipping the girls dress, while the girl is spinning around in circles. So here I was spinning around and around and got so dizzy, that I didn't realize Kent was still down on the floor...on one knee with a BEAUTIFUL ring in his hand! I was in complete shock that I just covered my mouth and jumped back almost falling into the couch. I can't even remember what he all said because I was just so excited! I do remember he asked me to be his wife and I remember screaming yes of course!

There was a mathematical equation to him choosing March 19.. number 19, I am number 1 to him and 9 is my favorite number. 19-3 = 16, 3 stands for March which is when we started dating. 16 is Kent's birthday and his favorite number. And then the square root of 16 = 4 which is my birthday. Knowing my love for numbers and equations, I completely appreciate the thought that went behind it!!
