Directions from Houston:

• Take I-45 south to Exit 1C, and turn left (east) onto Harborside Drive/Hwy 275.
• Continue about 4.7 miules to Kempner / 22nd street (which is the street leading into the Cruise Ship Terminal entrance), and turn left.
• Adjacent to the terminal is for loading/unloading luggage curbside only.

PARKING 

If you can find street parking, GREAT, the Port of Galveston is a 5min walk from the Galveston Strand (Galveston's tourest shoping)

This parking lot is located at the corner of 25th Street and Santa Fe Place, right next to the Galveston Railroad Museum. It is one block from the Port of Galveston Cruise Terminal and one block from the Strand.

When you pull in the entrance to park you will pay for your parking at the pay station where the red flag is. Once you have paid you will put the receipt on your dash so it is visible from the outside of your vehicle.

While the lot is within walking distance of the cruise terminal, it does offer shuttle service. There is a discount for walking to the port instead of taking the shuttle. Reservations are recommended as the lot often sells out.
